At the 2nd regular session of the Municipal Assembly of Berkovići, held on Friday, December 27, important decisions were made to enhance the efficiency of the local administration.
Mitar Lučić was elected as Deputy Mayor of the municipality following a secret ballot, receiving seven votes in favor, three against, and one invalid ballot.
“Mitar Lučić is a man of the people, known for his humility, respect for others, and readiness to help at any time. He is a proven friend and neighbor, someone who understands the everyday challenges faced by our citizens. His energy, integrity, and connection to the community will undoubtedly bring significant contributions to our joint efforts for Berkovići,” emphasized Mayor Bojan Samardžić.
Zdravka Ivanišević was appointed acting head of the Department for General Administration, Spatial Planning, Utility Services, and Veterans and Disability Protection, receiving seven votes in favor.
“Zdravka is an experienced lawyer whose professional knowledge and responsibility ensure the efficient handling of all challenges in this field,” noted Samardžić.
Earlier, Danilo Ćupina was named acting head of the Department for Finance, Economy, Development Management, and Social Services.
“With Danilo leading this department, we are confident in the stable and sustainable development of Berkovići, as financial responsibility is the foundation of all progress,” added the mayor.
With these appointments, the executive authority of the Municipality of Berkovići has been fully constituted, laying a solid foundation for continued work in the interest of all citizens.
