Last night, 24 June, 2024, Berkovići hosted  the "Baby Conference"  in the organization of the Municipality of Berkovići with the support of the RS Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports. The aim of the event is to promote parenting, family and family values.

The presidency of the babies until the next conference will consist of: Kalina Muratović, the youngest, Milica Muratović, the oldest, and Savo Grčić, the baby with the most siblings.

As in previous years, the Municipal Administration, in cooperation with "Tropik Zenica", has prepared a rich entertainment program for the youngest residents.

The Municipality of Berkovići has been rewarding each newborn with 1,000 KM for several years now. The services of the "Sveta Novomučenica Milica-Dete" Kindergarten are free for families with three or more children, while families with one or two children pay a minimum fee. Student scholarships in the amount of 150 KM per month are provided for all students from Berkovići, as well as professional training for all persons who graduate from the state university, with a monthly compensation of 200 KM and paid expenses for taking the professional exam.
